My wife and I stayed here in the summer of 1995. The staff was extremely
courteous and spoke English freely and very well. They were always very helpful.
The Paris night life was right outside our back door and only a short walk to the
left bank and the Latin Quarter. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.
I stayed at the Novotel Les Halles
in 1989 and 1991. I think it is in
an ideal location, close to most
major sites and not on a busy
street. Things I remember most
about the hotel are it's location,
helpful staff, talking elevator,
and the excellent breakfest buffet.
I hope to return to Paris someday
and would definitely choose the
Novotel Les Halles as a place to
stay.
I stayed at the newest Novotel near Port d'Orleans.
It is a very comfortable and quiet hotel, great for a
business stay. Unfortunatly it has no character and
although convenient, the food is plain. The neighborhood
around Denfer is warm and a great place to shop.
I stayed at the Novotel the summer
of 1998 with eight of my students.
The hotel is spacious and so are the
rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast
buffet offers a fantastic selection.
The location is excellent. It is close
Notre Dame, shopping, and the metro.
There is a piano bar. The bathrooms
are well lit. The hotel is very
American in style with its services
and modern conveniences. There are
Robobars the rooms! A great choice!
We stayed at the hotel for the last night of a UK trip. Arriving at 6pm we had only 12 hours to see Paris. The hotel provides a wonderful service for getting information and booking tours. The gentleman who helped us was outstanding. Thanks to him we cruised the Seine, had dinner, enjoyed the Illumination tour and climbed the Eiffel Tower that evening. We could never have accomplished so much without his help.
A solid 3 star hotel. No air conditioning and little control over the heat, so we slept with the window open about one foot when it was 30 degrees f outside.
Staff was friendly and helpful as we spoke almost no French.
Surrounding restaurants are ok, but watch your step as you walk because many dogs are walked in this neighborhood.
Very convenient to the subway. Watch for young female pickpockets in groups on the subway!
We paid $175 euros including breakfast/night
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four days when we arrived in Paris. It was our first European experience and it was delightful. It is situated in a convenient location near the Metro and buses. All major sites are within walking distance. Everyone at the hotel was couteous and helpful and fairly knowledgable in English. I would happily stay there again and partake of their cozy restaurant once more.
