I have stayed at this hotel last March
for about a week. You can't think
of an hotel better located than this one.
it is a very cute and quiet hotel
indeed!
I have stayed at his hotel countless times for 12 years, and wouldn't
stay anyplace else. It's in the heart of the
Latin Quarter and seconds from the Sorbonne. Sit in one of the student cafes
at Place de la Sorbonne, visit the Cluny Museum, or walk 5 minutes to the
Luxembourg gardens. Eat in any of the fun places in Rue Mouffetard!
I usually stay in Paris for several weeks each time, and this area is
lively, charming, and much cheaper than the right bank!
I have stayed at this hotel for conferences and have found
it to be wonderful. The clerks, etc. are hospitable and
ready to help you. C'est magnifique!
We stayed at the Hotel de la Sorbonne in September 1998, and found it most charming and cosy. Though the bathroom was a bit small, the room was still comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Tle location is superb, in the heart of the magnificent Latin Quarter. We warmly recommend it!
We stayed at this wonderful hotel last spring (2003) and were completely happy with the experience. Our window looked out at the Sorbonne. The room was charming, comfortable and felt like Paris. The staff was helpful and courteous. We were an easy stroll to the Seine and Notre Dame. The nearby 'tourist cafe' area of the Latin Quarter was a disappointment, but there were a few excellent cafes in the PAntheon area just north. And all of Paris was very accessible from the location.
