• I found this hotel to be extremely clean, the staff cordial and courteous, we were welcomed and made to feel very special to them. The food was excellent, there was a wide choice of everything: poisson, poulet et pasta! The desserts...!

• This hotel is used quite often by tour groups, who seem to get the outside (street) rooms. Ask for an inside (courtyard) room. Very nice, clean, great buffet breakfast (extra charge) and in an area of Paris that doesn't see a lot of tourists. Nearby Rue Didot was great fun for shopping and exploring, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful at every turn. Underground parking is available if you need it. I try to visit other areas but all my visits to Paris start at this hotel.

• Not at all glamorous or picturesque but reliable, clean and most efficient. Rooms are rather small and basic but well priced. In all, a good deal and convenient to Alesia, metro line 4 and therefore, to all of Paris.
