• I stayed in a lovely suite at the Bourgogne in April-May 1995. There were three of us travelling together and this room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The staf was excellent in their helpful suggestions and willingness to respond to our requests. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants or brioche, juice and coffee delivered daily to our room as requested. The room rate was pricey but well worth the location, very central to everything. Great pattisserie across the street roller pradier and Le Brasserie Bourbon a delightful place for lunch or dinner. All in all,a 4 star experience.

• A remarkably charming and pleasant place to stay - all staff exhibit an obvious pride in their little hotel. Individually appointed rooms feel like guest rooms at a good friend's home - a marked contrast to the sterile carbon-copy rooms found at chain hotels. Simple comfort without ostentation - the whole effect is deeply relaxing, the kind of comfort you look for when on vacation with your kids.

• Wonderfully located in convenient 7th/great pastry shop across street/hotel reception charming/superb breakfast/get renovated room/large bathrooms/separate toilet/no bidet/metro close/mini bar/brought in own water and tangerines for snacks/well priced/stayed there 3 times in 3 months/some rooms small/has tv/cnn/mtv/by Assembly National and two metro stops/close to Rodin museum/try restaurant Le 6 Bosquet -walking distance-dinner is priced at about 35.00 US each for appetizer/main course/dessert/wine extra but a reasonable list/two blocks or so from Rue Saint Germain/my mother and aunt were beautifully taken care of by the staff/this was their first trip/my aunt needed a hip replacement when they returned!

• We spent one week at this wonderful hotel. We were treated wonderfully by a very courteous and knowledgeable staff. The ambience is totally "French"--we highly recommend the Bourgogne et Montana! Even the location was ideal for going anywhere!

• We've been to Paris 6 times and have stayed at the Bourgogne-Montana 5 out of the 6 times. It is absolutely the most wonderful Parisian experience.The rooms are well appointed and quite spacious for a European hotel. The location is excellent--in the very exclusive, quiet and safe 7th arr. There are charming little shops and neat little places to eat nearby. The breakfast in the hotel is fabulous. The entire staff is so very helpful and courteous. They helped us(by e-mail) to plan the most wonderful New Year's celebration we've ever had this past year.We went on a dinner cruise down the Seine and then walked down a part of the Champs-Elysees.Everytime we go there we feel like we're at home. We reccommend it to all our friends. We're looking forward to our next visit in the spring.
