What others have said about this hotel:

• I have stayed at the Corail three times and think it is good value for the money. The staff have been friendly and helpful. One evens speaks better English than me. The breakfasts are huge. The location is only a short walk from the Gare de Lyon which was a large plus for me when dragging a bag. The room I choose is adequate, but I use the same room each time so I can't really comment on the other rooms.

• We stayed at this hotel a few days before and after our trip to Les Arcs in winter 2002. The hotel is close to Gare de Lyon so we found the location convenient for travelling by train to French Alps. Moreover, the AirFrance buses, which stop in front of the Gare de Lyon, make the location ideal for transfer to CDG-Orly airport (terminal 2). The rooms were small, nothing special, but clean and well equipped (for such affordable prices): satellite TV, phone, hair-dryer, safe box. The staff was nice and helpful. Everyone spoke English except one person who spoke Spanish. However, even with him we had no problems to communicate, because he was friendly and patient to my poor French. The service was good. Before our trip to Paris, I had to change the dates of our stay in the hotel twice and every time they sent me a new confirmation of reservation without any delay. We would definitely stay again there next time we go to French Alps via Paris.
